As a summer camp counselor you have the responsibility of being a positive role model for other campers. You help the campers have the best summer ever, while you learn valuable leadership skills and it all starts with our Leaders In Training (L.I.T) program.

At Leaders In Training, you will learn:

  • Methods of group leadership
  • A variety of teaching styles and positive reinforcement
  • Different problem solving techniques
  • First Aid & CPR
  • How to work with children so that they learn, stay safe, and have fun

You will get hands-on experience as well as practicing job interviews to help you land the next job you apply for and you can come back every summer to develop and practice the skills you learn. You might even get asked to apply for our Junior Counselor program or become part of the Boating in Boston Dock Staff.
